Less Annoying CRM Pros

Tasks

A customer relationship management system’s primary responsibility is to guarantee that no important information will ever be overlooked.

There are probably too many commitments and follow-ups for you to keep track of at this point.

The workspace of Less Annoying CRM provides you with an in-depth analysis of everything.

Within the Today’s Agenda section, you will be able to view all of the scheduled events for the current day.

When tasks are simply activities that need to be finished before a certain date…

It is a breeze to create tasks for you and your team to complete together. Once the tasks and events have been set up, they will send you reminders whenever something important is approaching, allowing you to ensure that the tasks are completed in an efficient manner.

Suppose you want to follow up with Jane about the call you had with her yesterday.

Simply create a task based on Jane’s record, attach a task to it, and assign a due date to it.

Note: You do not need to worry about forgetting to follow up with Jane or anyone else because Less Annoying CRM will email you your agenda every morning. This agenda will include all of the activities and events that are scheduled for that particular day.

Your Less Annoying CRM calendar will automatically update with all of your upcoming tasks as well as the tasks of your teammates.

In need of a more comprehensive task view?

The task report compiles all of the information pertinent to the task into one convenient location.

You have the option of viewing upcoming tasks, tasks that have been delegated to another member of your team, or printing a report of all the tasks that you have finished this week to send to your admins.

Additionally, it makes it simple to export or print the document.

Field customization

There are a lot of different ways that you can customize your CRM, including making the process of customizing fields less annoying.

In my opinion, one of the most important things you can do is tailor the kinds of information you need to gather about the businesses and people in your contact list.

I like that there aren’t that many mandatory fields for adding a new contact, because that means you can make notes about what you already know about a user without being forced to fill in fields for which you don’t yet have any information.

The fact that each account comes with fundamental fields like name, email, phone number, address, and more is one of the things that I like best about Less Annoying CRM. That’s not a bad thing at all.

On the other hand, if you need to collect other kinds of information, such as account IDs or sign-up dates…

Note that this is where the assistance of Custom Fields can come in handy. You have the ability to tailor the kinds of data that are stored in your CRM.

Let’s say you’re interested in pinpointing the origin of a particular lead, such as whether it came from your website, social media, or another source.

It is helpful to know that you can add as many fields as you deem necessary to the form.

You will be able to fill in the new field that you’ve just created in your Less Annoying CRM whenever you add a new contact to the database.

After you have created your contact, the Source field will be displayed alongside the rest of the information for your contact.

Organizing Your Contacts Into Groups

It’s great to have a huge list of people you can get in touch with, but what if you want to segment things a little bit more specifically?

It is a great way to build lists and keep things organized if you segment or tag your contacts according to whether they share something in common or not.

The Groups feature of Less Annoying CRM enables you to add structure to your database while also putting you just one click away from a list of people.

But for what purpose are groups being used?

For instance, labeling all of the people you met at a conference, or just identifying the people in your personal network.

It is simple to link a group to a specific individual, and there is no upper limit on the number of contacts that can be included in a group. In addition, you are free to form as many different groups as you like.

Should they use a pipeline or a group? It is one of the questions that people ask the most frequently.

In most cases, groups are the most effective way to construct lists (like everyone in a certain industry, or people who subscribed to a newsletter.)

However, they are NOT intended to be used for monitoring workflows. This is what pipelines are designed to do.

Pipelines are best for tracking labels or statuses that change over time, whereas groups are best for things that don’t change all that frequently, like your current clients. Pipelines are best for tracking labels or statuses that change over time.

Note: Less Annoying CRM does not give you the ability to create “private” pipelines, which would give you complete authority over who can access them. Just in case, as there is a possibility that you will need to conceal certain pipelines from the team.

Pipelines (Industry Specific Templates)

Pipelines, in my opinion, are one of the most powerful tools that come with Less Annoying CRM.

A pipeline is something that… A pipeline, in its most basic definition, is an instrument that monitors the progression of a particular process from its initiation to its conclusion.

Because lead tracking is the most common application for them, every Less Annoying CRM account comes with a straightforward lead pipeline that can be used to convert prospects into customers.

In addition to this, they provide industry-specific templates complete with individualized pipelines for a variety of industries, including insurance, travel agents, real estate, and more.

Note: Simply let them know if you need a pipeline template that is specific to your industry for your CRM system. They’ll be able to assist you.

Simple sales process

  • When first identified, a person or company is considered a Prospect.
  • Obtains status as a Qualified Lead
  • The outcome is either won or lost at this point.

Additional Statuses

You can create statuses in Less Annoying CRM that let you know exactly where a company or a contact stands, and you can give each status a color to make it stand out on a record. This allows you to know exactly where a company or a contact stands.

Also, adding additional information such as where the items originated (using a dropdown list), as well as what their monetary value is.

As I was saying earlier, pipelines can be used to track pretty much anything you want to keep tabs on.

From the Order pipeline for shipments, which enables you to monitor the status of each order as well as its past…

…to the Job application pipeline in order to guarantee that you will never skip a step with your prospective employees.

View of the Customer Record

Your customer record will contain all of the information and data about previous orders, with each individual order containing its own comprehensive record of the order’s entire history.

Please take note that reporting is the primary source of pipelines’ value. Because pipeline reports provide information on everyone with whom you are currently collaborating, none of your leads or other opportunities will ever be lost in the shuffle.

You are presented with a list of all of your leads, along with their fundamental information and their current status.

Important: The sales pipeline view is a vital component that is absent from the pipeline functionality. From a high-level perspective, this tool will provide you with an overview of all of your leads and the exact phases they are currently in.

Notes

The notes from sales are a very useful resource. They help not only you but also your entire sales team, management, leadership, and even the customer themselves.

Less Annoying includes a notes feature that is simple to operate.

You have the option of date and time stamping a note whenever you enter one. In addition, if any of your other team members have access to this record, you will also be able to view the notes that they have made, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.

You can see every report and note that you entered into Less Annoying CRM by using the activity report, which is an excellent piece of software.

You can also filter by a particular user on the account as well as a date range if you need a more specific view of the work that someone has done.

The format of your filtered report, which will only show notes, will look like this:

After that, either download a PDF version of this report to send it via email or print it out and hand in a hard copy.

Note: Less Annoying CRM’s reports and reporting capabilities are easy to use. Tools such as Zoho CRM, which costs $12 per month and offers a wide variety of reporting options such as charts, tabular views, and summary views, in addition to being entirely drag-and-drop based, are excellent choices if you require a higher level of customizability.

Exceptional Customer Service!

Their dedication to their customers is truly reflected in the title of their department. (And they are nice; I’ve heard people say that they wish their own families were like this.)

To begin, they pick up the phone when it rings rather than forcing you to go through a series of hoops.

Second, they assist you in setting everything up and instruct you on how to personalize pipelines so that you can improve your ability to monitor ongoing work, proposals, and follow-ups (WIP).

Note: Be prepared to pay additional fees or hire a professional to customize the product if you are using a more expensive CRM tool.

Less Annoying CRM Cons

Integrations

My feelings toward the integration process can be described as conflicted…

Due to the fact that it is such a straightforward tool, they do not offer very many integrations. They do not offer integrations with other services such as Twilio, GoToWebinar, or DocuSign, amongst others.

You will need to make use of a third-party tool such as PieSync in order to synchronize the contacts in your Less Annoying CRM account with more than 170 different programs.

However, the cost of this tool is an additional $49 per month.

The following is a list of integrations for Less Annoying CRM, with the most popular small business apps being MailChimp, Google, and Microsoft:

Note: If this list includes every integration tool that is necessary for you to run your business, then Less Annoying CRM is going to be an excellent choice for your small business or startup.

No Mobile App (Use Web Browser Instead)

The mobile app for Less Annoying CRM is one of the things that we have a problem with.

Unfortunately, Less Annoying CRM is not currently available on either the Android Market or the iTunes Store. Instead, their mobile site will function on any phone that has an up-to-date web browser installed on it.

The navigation and page menus have been condensed into tabs at the top of the screen, which is the most significant difference when comparing mobile to desktop viewing.

Note about iOS: If you will be using Safari as the browser on your iPhone, iOS has a built-in feature that will allow you to pin the mobile website to the app list on the home screen of your device. This feature is only available on devices running iOS 8.0 or later.

In-Depth Less Annoying CRM Review: an easy CRM for a very small business — 16

Note for Android: If you are using the Google Chrome web browser on your Android phone, you have the ability to pin the website for the Less Annoying CRM to the home screen of your device. This will allow you to launch the CRM with a single touch, just like you do with all of your other apps.

At the very least, this is what it says on their website: “If you’re not sure whether it’s going to work, it can’t hurt to try; unfortunately we cannot guarantee it will work on every device out there, but the vast majority will support it with no trouble at all.” There is always a possibility that this will not work on your device, but the likelihood of this happening is extremely low.

I never lose my sense of optimism. Dare we hope for the best?

If you are already familiar with the desktop version of Less Annoying CRM, figuring out how to use the mobile app should not present too much of a challenge for you.

There are no tools for project management or marketing automation

Less Annoying CRM is a relatively straightforward system to use. The management of projects is outside of their purview at the moment.

Because they do not have any marketing tools, they have formed a partnership with MailChimp for the purpose of email marketing. As a result, you will be able to easily transfer your contacts from the CRM to MailChimp. MailChimp is used for everything, including the creation and sending of the email as well as any automation.

It makes perfect sense to me because their target audience is extremely small businesses, which typically do not require the use of such tools.

You are going to need to use a variety of third-party tools and logins in order to keep everyone on the same page. However, there are other tools that will allow you to manage your entire project in one location while also handling all of your marketing.

Automating marketing tasks is straightforward:

To begin, you either don’t need marketing automation because your company is very straightforward and therefore doesn’t require it or you aren’t in charge of the marketing department.

Second, you might need some kind of marketing tool, but all you really need is a simple automation tool that you can sync up through PieSync, and this problem will be solved for you.

Note that in order to avoid going over budget, you simply have to be straightforward with yourself regarding the requirements of your company.

Less Annoying provides excellent value for the money, and the quality of their service is unmatched.

There is a very limited number of integrations available, and there are no tools for project management or marketing automation. These are two minor limitations, but they do exist.

Their product is highly adaptable while still adhering to the KISS mentality.

Don’t be afraid to give it a shot if you want to find out if it can provide you with a low-cost method of monitoring your small business.
